Introduction:

God works in a way we cannot see. In the book of Isaiah 55: 8, God Say “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. Of course, this is evident in the way God blesses his people who are chronic givers, people who give to promote God’s kingdom here on earth.
To experience a new thing refers to a commitment on our part. This is an unwavering commitment to give our all to Jesus Christ our Lord.

A. God-The Author of giving. John 3:16
i. God gave his Only Begotten Son (Jesus).
ii. God gives so that we will not perish.
iii. God gives so that we may have eternal life.

B. Love- A Catalyst for Giving. Act 4:32 -37
i. Love motivates giving vs. 32
ii. Love is a big factor. ‘For God so loved the World’.

C. Experiencing a New Thing through Giving. 2 Corinth 5:17
i. One of the things that indicate that we are a new creature is the way we give. Remember:
– When we give, we are giving to Jesus Matt 25:40
– When we give to God’s work, we are investing, Phil 4;17, Prov 19:17
– God will pay us back for Sacrificial giving. Eccl 11:1
